Whatever stage you’re at — first time on a bike or coming back after years off — there’s a route that suits you. CBT starts from £159 — that is the price when you use your own motorcycle and gear — and Direct Access from £925; for everything else, give us a call and we’ll quote it for you.
Your first step on the road
A one-day course covering all five elements — including a minimum of a 2-hour road ride — plus an intro to the bike, riding skills and the highway code. Pass it and you can ride a moped or 125 with L-plates.

Fast track to your full licence
4 or 5 day courses toward your A1, A2 or full licence via Direct Access — Mod 1 and Mod 2 test training, with all test fees included. Training includes time on the MMA (Motorcycle Manoeuvring Area) — the official test centre exam area — giving you real practice and insight into the actual test.

On the way to your full licence
We’ll get you ready for both DVSA practical modules — confident, prepared and test-ready.
Off-road manoeuvres on a test pad — manual handling, slow control, a slalom and figure of eight, a U-turn, cornering, a controlled stop, and the emergency stop & hazard-avoidance swerve. Your training includes practice on the actual test site.
An eyesight check and a couple of safety questions, then around 40 minutes of on-road riding with a DVSA examiner — normal road riding plus a section of independent riding.

We’re a friendly team based at North Tawton in Mid & North Devon, with riders travelling to us from right across the South West. From your very first lesson to your full licence, we’ve got you covered.
Stan — Senior instructor & owner · DVSA qualified. Decades of teaching experience, with spot-on humour & personality to drive your motorcycling ambitions. A proper biker who loves bikes — calm, patient and never rushes you; riders say it feels more like a friend is training you.
Sally — Senior admin & owner. Our senior admin — Sally’s reignited passion for motorcycles will be sure to rub off on you. She handles your booking and finds a date and time that suits.
All our other instructors are fully DVSA trained.

How it works
There’s a clear route from your very first lesson to riding solo on a full licence — five stages, each one building on the last. We’ll guide you through every one.
L-plates on a 50cc or 125cc — achievable in a day, depending on your learning and riding ability. All five elements covered, start to finish.
Pass the DVSA motorcycle theory test, the gateway to your practical modules.
Off-road control — slow riding, the swerve and the emergency stop on the manoeuvring pad.
On-road assessment with a DVSA examiner — riding safely and confidently in traffic.
A1, A2 or full A — drop the L-plates and ride your own road.
